Roxanne SuratgarRoxanne Suratgar is Director of Contracts and Commercial Services at Mott MacDonald. Formerly with USAID in Kosovo, she aided the country to restructure their state energy industry. She has carried out similar projects in Azerbaijan for SOCAR.
She has 15 years of project management and consulting experience. She has served as the assistant area manager for international business development for the Engineering EPC contractor activities at Snamprogetti, Italy; as a consultant in EU technical assistance projects in Eastern Europe and Lebanon, and as a consultant for SINNEA International in Italy. Roxanne also worked at Nomisma SpA, the leading Italian economic consulting firm, established by Romano Prodi, where she was a member of the international projects business unit.
Roxanne has an M.B.A. from Profingest Business School in Bologna, Italy, and a degree in engineering science (mechanical) from University of Exeter, U.K. Roxanne was part of the Albanian Cinema Project’s first visit to Tirana in July of 2012, where she helped to assess the current building conditions at the Central State Film Archives, and she has been integral in fostering dialogue between the ACP and Albanian ministries.
